Colloidal silver (Collargol, argentum, silver) (CAS 9007-35-6) has properties recognized empirically since antiquity. Its suspension yields a product containing silver particles. In a colloidal suspension, the substance in particle form does not cross a semi-permeable membrane. In an ionic solution, obtained by electrolysis, the substance in ionic form crosses a semi-permeable membrane. This is the physicochemical difference. Therefore, colloidal silver in suspension is neither a silver salt solution (dissolved silver salt) nor an ionic silver solution obtained by electrolysis.
 25 ppm = 0.0025% or 25 milligrams of silver in 1 liter.
 Colloidal silver can be used:
 Nasal route with a spray
 Oral administration via a spray.
 Dermal route with a compress.
 The finished product cannot be colorless since the colloidal suspension contains silver particles. Because silver oxidizes, it must be stored away from light and in the refrigerator. Ideally, the product should be used within 3 months. Otherwise, the product will darken, but its safety and effectiveness will remain unchanged.
 The ionic solution obtained by electrolysis is colorless because it does not contain particles.
 According to the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), its use is restricted to external applications and it must not be ingested. (November 2009) We use purified water that is bacteriologically pure ("zero bacteria") and mineral-pure ("zero minerals").
